We’re building a team of local independent contractor drivers. No certificates? We’ll train you and help you earn them.
Who we’re looking for
Dependable drivers in Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Garner, Clayton, Research Triangle Park, Morrisville, and Apex who want flexible medical courier routes using their own vehicle. Drivers work as 1099 independent contractors.
New to medical courier work? That’s okay. CoreMed wants to put people to work, and we’ll help you get the training you need.
Requirements to join
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license
- Clean driving record (MVR check)
- Background check
- A reliable vehicle with insurance that covers business or commercial delivery use (proof of insurance required)
- Signed W-9 (drivers work as 1099 independent contractors)
- Drug screen, when a client requires one
- Professional, punctual, and careful with every package and with patient privacy
No certificates? No problem
We’ll train you and help you earn your certificates
Every driver completes these before running routes:
OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certificate
Safe handling of lab specimens and what to do if a package leaks or breaks.
Client-specific training
Any site orientation or handling training a client requires for its routes, such as DOT hazmat training where it applies.
